My name is Vidhi Senghani and I am a mother of Pranshu Senghani-6c.Today, I am excited to share my experiences with our school.
At The Somaiya school , we believe that education extends beyond the confines of the classroom. Our comprehensive co-curricular and sports programs are designed to nurture our minds, bodies, and spirits, preparing us to face the world with confidence and resilience.
Participating in sports has been a transformative experience for many of us. Through football, basketball, athletics, and other sports, we have learned the essence of teamwork, discipline, and determination
Our co-curricular activities are equally enriching. The different club for students provid them a platforms to explore their passions and hone their skills. One of the most rewarding aspects of these activities is the sense of community they foster. Whether it’s cheering for our sports teams, collaborating on a school play, or organizing a charity event, child form a strong bonds with their peers and teachers. These relationships create a supportive network that enhances our school experience and provides a sense of belonging.
Moreover, these activities have taught us essential life skills that go beyond textbooks. Time management, problem-solving, leadership, and emotional intelligence are just a few of the qualities we develop through our participation. These skills are invaluable as we prepare for higher education and future careers.
I am deeply grateful to The Somaiya school for offering such a diverse range of co-curricular and sports activities in campus.
The Somaiya school is an epitome of holistic learning and all round development of students. In my association with the school I have always admired the transparent and open minded approach with parents. The students are constantly encouraged to perform well not just academically but in co-curricular activities as well. The sports infrastructure that the Somaiya campus has to offer is unmatched to any school in Mumbai.
My self Dr Ira patel would like to convey my immense pleasure and gratitude towards The Somaiya school.its been 11 yrs my son Daiwik is a part of TSS and not a single day he ever refuse to go to school. I must say teachers give their best for Academic studies as well as extra curriculum activities.My most remarkable activities are CRED TAlK and ANUBHUTI ( Experiencial Learning). INTRA SCHOOL MUN,PBL, CLUB activities &many more. That enhance students confidence and their overall prospect of learning skills.
Once again I am thankful To TSS for wonderful and beautiful memories given to us from kindergarten to secondary standards.
I am very happy to see both my children learn, grow and shine in The Somaiya School.
The school provides a creative and supportive environment which focuses on both academics, and sports.
I highly appreciate the qualified and experienced teaching staff at TSS, as they are the school’s most valuable asset. They have always motivated the students to perform their best, and boost up their confidence.
In January, the school had organized a ‘Kindness Mela’ in the campus. The abilities and experiences that children gain from participating in such fests are not typically taught in a classroom. Book Exchange, Annapurna food stall, Warli art items and many more, were the highlights of this wonderful event.
Last but not the least, I am grateful that my children are in the hands of such skilled, eminent and kind teachers.
I feel blessed to be a part of this prestigious institution with a long history of scholars.
Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all. TSS is that institution which touches children’s hearts in the right way, hence education becomes fun. TSS not only focuses on academics but overall personality of a child. The children feel happy and safe when they are at school and are ready to take on any challenges that come their way. TSS not only value the students but immensely value the entire parent community as well. Very proud to be a TSS parent.
Being a part of The Somaiya School for the past 11 years, I can confidently say they truly give their best. May it be academics or extracurriculars I’ve never been disappointed in the efforts put in by the teachers and faculty staff. What sets The Somaiya School apart is its holistic and all-rounded approach towards each child’s development. One subject I would like to bring light upon is chemistry sessions. Students in the secondary section are not only made to study theory in detail but also explore through consistent experimental learning in their state-of-the-art chemistry labs. When students experience certain chemical reactions take place they remember better and are more interested in the subject. Overall, whether it be science, math, or an extracurricular subject they ensure the students are comfortable and can connect with the core application of the concept introduced.
The Somaiya School stands as a premier institution dedicated to fostering the comprehensive development of its students. Here, children excel academically while also cultivating essential life skills such as communication, self-awareness, decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking. The Somaiya School since its inception. From the very beginning, we had no doubt that this school would excel in both education and the well-being of its students, as Somaiya is synonymous with quality education, already renowned for its university.
The Somaiya School offers a comprehensive environment for our child, providing excellent sports facilities, exposure to multiple languages, life skills education, and highly qualified teachers. The favorable teacher-student ratio ensures that teachers know each child’s strengths and weaknesses. The personalized feedback given to students is evident during Interaction with Parents(IWPs) where teachers demonstrate that their approach is not a one-size-fits-all but tailored to each child’s performance.

Nurturing young minds is indeed a very important and an equally tough task. They are curious, moody, sometimes cranky, some need to be calmed down and some need to be pushed to make an effort. We deal with one little personality, but you manage 23 of them on a daily basis, and not losing sight of their learning goals.
It is a testimony to your efforts that these kids are growing in confidence everyday, whether it be interactions at school, or essential skills such as reading and writing, or even performing on stage in front of 500 people. We see them and feel proud that they are potentially 2 generations ahead of us.
They are now crossing an important milestone and graduating out of pre primary. You have laid an important foundation for them, which we and the primary teachers will hope to build on. However, we hope that your love and oversight will continue to be on your children as they transition to a new schedule.
We being a part of the school from its commencement to its progression have strongly witnessed the comprehensive development of the school and our kids .It has a strong leadership team, friendly and supportive staff who are always striving to provide a caring environment that encourages students learning and development. The school campus is huge and focusses not only on academics but also on sports.
With the graduation day having gone by, we have been reminiscing Daivik’s pre primary journey and how you all have played such an integral role in shaping what he is today.
The start, not just for him, but for the entire Nursery batch, was severely impacted by COVID. This did set him back in terms of his development. Manvi and Kejal teacher though, thank you for making the most of the fait accompli presented to us. In some ways, we as parents were also over cautious, when during the last days of Nursery, Daivik started going to school.
Jr. KG was his first real tryst with school and he did take time to blend in, longer than we expected. But as is said, each child is like a QR code, very different, and hence we always wanted to give him time. Importantly, Khushboo and Sophia teacher also did the same, and never once lost their patience with him. Infact Shweta and I used to be scared during pickup, not knowing whether he will be out wearing his school or home clothes. He was not keen on mingling, but thank you teachers that you kept at it, giving him every chance to take the step up socially.
I think Sr KG is where he started to come into his own, that too towards the latter half. He started to feel comfortable with what school had to offer in terms of learning and fun. We always used to ask him, which 1 friend you spoke to everyday, and while he did name some of his peers, we used to get Teacher’s names as well. Important to understand that he saw you both as friends and we believe that’s the best kind of environment a child can get. Infact he got a little too comfortable that he used to sometimes give red and green dots to the teacher in our very own homemade behavior chart, of course in jest. We cannot thank you enough teachers for bringing out the fun part in him, while simultaneously him making the step up in academics. The highlight though, was the 3 words he wrote on how he has been able to help his teachers. We will never forget that moment!
We would also like to specially thank CWSN teachers, who were there for him when he needed that extra nudge, and it’s a testimony to the school, that efforts are made to ensure no child is left behind.

The brand ‘Somaiya’ in itself speaks volumes about its legacy and commitment in the academic sector. The Somaiya School has provided me with a strong platform, where I have been able to enhance my knowledge and strengthen my skills. The experienced faculty and administrators have always ensured a secured learning environment along with a focus on my emotional well-being. Apart from a fine blend of academic rigor, the school places great emphasis on co-curricular activities, which have contributed to my holistic development. The state of the art facilities, infrastructure and technological integration have also played an integral role in my learning experience. The experiential learning trip to Nareshwadi organized by the school, which involved site based learning and interaction with tribal communities, enabled me to be appreciative of Indian culture and traditions. The literary festival, a highly anticipated event designed by the school, presented me with a unique opportunity to interact with distinguished guest speakers, authors, illustrators and storytellers. This reinforced and enriched my love for literature and reading. The overall experience has been fulfilling, consistent and intellectually stimulating.
Personally, I have found my experience at The Somaiya School to be extremely fulfilling and rewarding. The teachers are always on the go, committed and capable, ready to guide students academically. It also offers numerous subjects for different tastes and abilities; sports day, annual day, makers mela, art mela etc.The school environment is well maintained making it suitable for learning activities to take place.The extracurricular activities offered by the school has expanded my perspective beyond just being inside the classroom.I appreciate that there is equal emphasis on holistic development at The Somaiya School such as academic excellence and character building. I now consider myself as a complete person due to these values taught by the school.This educational system coupled with good morals will lay a strong foundation for me in future life.
School for me is a place that feels like home. It has helped me grow and learn by giving me innumerable opportunities like trips, guest speakers, Model UN, sports day’s, Annual days and so many more. It gives me a platform which allows me to share my thoughts and form my own opinions. There are many facilities around the campus that make learning more exciting and teaches me many important and useful skills. Teachers and other staff help me become a better person by teaching me life skills that I will never forget. The Somaiya school is a place where I can learn, make mistakes and most importantly be myself.
The Somaiya School is a wonderful place to learn with fun. There are so many events in our school which make learning more fun. I thoroughly enjoy all the events like PBL (Project Based Learning), Annual Day, Literary week (Where different famous authors come to our school and we interact with them), Sports Day, Field trips and Multi-Day trips. Yes, you read that correct ‘Multi-Day trips’ our school takes on Multi-Day trips (4-5 days) to different cities like Aurangabad, Hampi, Jaipur and Ranthambore, Hyderabad etc. We not only have fun on these trips but we also learn about the history of the place. The same thing applies to the events; we have a lot of fun, while learning. All the teachers are very good and they crack jokes while teaching, so we don’t get bored.
The Somaiya School is my favorite place ever. It is like my second home. Here I make long lasting friendships, I learn life lessons and make memories . The Blue court and Libraries are brilliantly designed and hold a very special place in my heart. They teach me about winning, losing, sharing,caring,discipline. I enjoy being a part of various quizzes ,PBL,CredTalks, Literary Fest, MathFest, Science Fest held in my school .Every year I look forward to participating in the occasional assemblies,extravagant Annual Day and rocking Sports Meet . With excellent leadership and commitment ,my teachers show me different ways of looking at the world. There is never a boring day here . It is my favorite place ever.
